20.01.2022 So a lot has been going on this week, well except for sleep! We’ve built the wardrobe/storage cabinets that sit above the side of the bed and they now have doors! The small kitchenette is almost ready to be fixed in and have its drawers/door attached and the bench top fitted (we don’t plan on keeping the MDF ) and the fridge will have laminate covers on the doors. The shell of the slide out pantry is in with both side panels and an aircon vent at the top. And last but most... definitely not least, the gigantic ensuite is starting to come together! 12.01.2022 Well you can’t say Mercedes don’t build things to last, that’s for sure! Cutting out this bulkhead looked simple, until we discovered that not only was it well and truly built in hard, but it was hiding all the gas lines to the refrigerated cooling and wiring throughout! Not to mention it’s fibreglass so very itchy scratchy! We finished the fitout on this bus early January, but it went straight from the factory to the Spirit of Tasmania and has only just come back for its photo shoot! Interior photos next! **Customer already had the slide out kitchen pre-installed, so we just connected the water system to it.
