Place any cash sponsorship money you collected in an envelope with your name and class on it, and your teacher can pass it on to Miss Allen in 5/6A. ... Remember... ALL students who raise over $10 get free *sunnies, a small prize, and an *ice block!! *sunnies and ice block on the event day. What a great idea!

23.01.2022 FUNDRAISING TIME!!!!! This year, the P&C has been super busy behind the scenes. We've patched up the grass in the kindergarten area (a never ending challenge), we've installed the gorgeous new Sails just in time for Summer, vamped the Clothing Pool into an online only service with deliveries direct to the classrooms, kept those exciting book club orders coming in every term, quickly arranged Covid Safe Extra Curricular activities before school, and worked dilligently with Ru...th to make sure that our VPS students get wonderful new books for the library donated by the wonderful and amazing...you!! Now it's time for some serious business.... seriously FUN business, that is. The P&C coffers are empty and the kids are exhausted after such a stressful year. We thought it was important that the kids get a chance to blow off some steam and end 2020 with a fundraiser that will leave them covered in colours! Details to follow

Instead, buy them a kids' meal and let them enjoy a night out with their friends. Please note that 50% of the proceeds goes back to the school. Look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday. Imagine what we could achieve if the remaining students joined in on the action! At https://cambridgemarkets.com.au We deliver on market days which is Wedesdays and Saturdays and you can order up to midday the day before. And you can choose your own produce. 21.01.2022 Hi VPS community, as I cant make these for your children at the moment I thought I would share my recipe (from my cousin Wendy) so you can make them together at home. Hope you are all well and have a meaningful Anzac Day. Anzac Cookies Ingredients 1 cup rolled oats... 1 cup plain flour 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup desiccated coconut 125g butter 2 tablespoons golden syrup 1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda 2 tablespoons boiling water Method Preheat oven to 160 degrees. In a large bowl combine oats, flour, sugar and coconut. In a pot gently melt butter and golden syrup. Add boiling water to bicarbonate and add to the butter mix ....wait for the delicious golden foam. Stir butter mix into oat mix. Allow to cool for a few minutes then roll into walnut size balls. Place on lined baking tray and bake...for 15 mins if you like them chewy or 18 mins for a crunchy version.

19.01.2022 Term 1 2020 Extra Curricular Sports Programs are now open for booking. In 2020, the Extra Curricular Sports Program for Vaucluse Public School offers eight varied disciplines to choose from: Karate, Netball, Boys Hip Hop Crew, Gymnastics, Basketball, Cheer leading / acrobatics, soccer and girls' dance K-4. These classes improve our students' fine and gross motor skills as well as the skills specific to the chosen sport. The classes also enhance each child's creativity, imagin...ation and focus within a class environment. Programs run in line with the Vaucluse Public School term and each term is booked separately. Enrolments are processed on a 'first come-first served basis' and so it's not possible to guarantee a place in any program. Book now to secure your child's spot! 15.01.2022 This year's Colour Explosion is off to a good start! We've had nearly 100 people build their online profile page at https://myprofilepage.com.au/ and have raised just over $9000 to date. But we need so much more to keep our school great. There's a constant demand for upgraded tech; resources for the Library, paying for the SAKG programme our students love so much, and access to a dedicated Learning Support Officer (we love you Margaret!!!) The P&C can only fund these and n...umerous other wonderful programmes through the continued generosity of parents and the community. Remember, we may be a state school, but we receive less funding than other schools. Please don't let our students go without next year. Dig deep, and give what you can.

Our friend, Kevin is collecting old laptops and tablets, up to 5 years old, for families who are struggling and have kids who need for home schooling. 04.01.2022 Colour explosion prizes arrived on Thursday and were sorted by P&C elves late into the night and most of Friday. What a messy job!! The *majority of prizes were sent home with students this afternoon. Donations will be going to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.... If your child would like to donate any of their prizes to the Salvation Army, please have them bring in the toys and drop them at the school office before the end of term. Thank you from the P&C. * a couple of students are missing the mini speakers. They are coming on Monday.
