24.01.2022 Lonsel Moses was in the shop today and was happy for me to record him playing on a Tasmanian Myrtle jumbo. Many thanks Lonsel.

24.01.2022 Just installed a sanding machine for putting the 25ft and 15ft radius on the back and top of acoustic guitars, had to machine up a Tasmanian Myrtle body to try it out. It works a treat

23.01.2022 Finished the full rebuild of a Gibson this morning, it took 22 hours to do but ended with a very happy customer

22.01.2022 Brent came down from Townsville to buy this Dreadnought Guitar yesterday, built from figured Queensland Maple with a Black Bean finger board and fitted with a Fishman pickup. Many thanks Brent.

17.01.2022 Just finished this Telecaster built from Rose Alder a north QLD hardwood with a Silver Ash neck and a Cooktown Ironwood finger board. Fitted with single coil EMG pickups. The scratch plate is one I made from 3 cross layers of QLD Walnut and the top layer English burl Poplar veneer.

17.01.2022 This big fella had his head knocked off in a plane ride, had to do major repairs and fit a new bridge. You cant carry instruments on planes in soft cases.

15.01.2022 I have finished the 12 string jumbo, just letting it hang and cure for a week before I sand it back and polish it. The neck is cross laminated and has two 6mm sq carbon fibre rods plus the dual action truss rod to keep it straight. I cant see the neck having a mind of its own ever.

15.01.2022 No more feeler gauges for setting the action on guitars, I love my new tool it is so accurate

15.01.2022 Had Chris and Brenden Schick in the shop today and really enjoyed their playing, thanks guys!
