25.01.2022 Were frothing to get some paint on the walls at our Dover heights project which is nearing completion. Although the floor is covered, the veins in the cosmic black granite benchtops perfectly compliment the herringbone oak floors ensuring continuity throughout the main living spaces. The job hasnt come without its challenges but were excited to unveil the finished product

24.01.2022 Taking care during the demo of this place enabled us to salvage the existing UBs onsite. We had them inspected by the engineer and once approved bought in a site welder to properly re-purpose them. It Saved the clients some dough, us some time and it reduced the projects embedded energy. Win / win

Their #climatecrisis edition could not have been more timely given the events that have since unfolded, we thank them for having the foresight to ensure this crisis is documented, discussed and hopefully acted on by all of us working on and in the built environment. The Aran Bianco limestone tiles provide the perfect building block to allow colour to be invited into the dwelling in the form of custom upholstery that sits elegantly on the #offform concrete daybed. Theres no doubt the Mediterranean green windows and doors compliment the copper down pipes and gutters, we can only imagine how good these will look once they start to #pettina . #chardonnay anyone? This is Easily one of the most challenging sites weve worked on and I Honestly cant say if Id prefer tight access in Sydney or Steep and rocky up north. The salt in the wound lately however has been the Rain Surf has been pumping through so thats been good to watch cant wait to get the GF slab poured and actually build something. #verdecon #responsibleconstruction

04.01.2022 Theres rightfully plenty of bad news going on right now so we wanted to share some of our good news and good vibes with you all. Weve been working on @bcorpanz certification for 3 years now, quantifying data, improving standards, offsetting our carbon emissions, writing and implementing new policies to improve on site practices and earlier this week, you guessed it, we finally got our certification with a score of 85.9! Were absolutely stoked and cant wait to dive head first into our new community. Were the first #construction company in Australia to pair #carbonneutral certification with @bcorporation certification, and its the first of many steps in our efforts to change the game. #Verdecon #responsibleconstruction

01.01.2022 Ive loved seeing the collaborative response from a large chunk of the architects we follow and work with pledging to go carbon neutral in 2020. Its becoming incredibly clear that if were going reduce our emissions the bulk of the responsibly is going to be in the hands of business. @scottmorrisonmp and his governments response today continuing to push for their piss weak 26% emissions reduction is quite frankly embarrassing, add the fact theyre still referencing superse...ded Kyoto protocols as part of these policies is even more laughable. The world is now watching our beautiful country very closely given what were currently surrounded by so its time for all of us to take ownership of the problem and fix it. #Verdecon is proudly in its 2nd year of Carbon Neutrality, something were very proud of. We encourage all business to look into CN, understand what its about and put it on their 2020 business goals list.
