04.01.2022 Not only was it Easter this weekend, but also the gorgeous country wedding of Ashlea & Cameron. Many an hour was spent on the floor painting these signs and seating plan in readiness for yesterday’s celebrations. I can honestly say that painting signs is one of my absolute favourite things to do, there’s nothing better than turning a blank board into the picture my Brides have in their minds. 04.01.2022 Life is short. Time is fast. No Replay, no rewind. So enjoy every moment as it comes. Time certainly doesn’t stand still for anyone and I have been dividing my time over the past 3 1/2 years between Very Vintage, my Family, my full time job and our home to offer people a carefree events set-up and hire service. As much as I have loved every minute of this, at times I have had to forego something with my Family because of it. With this in mind and after SO much deliberation ...I have made the very difficult decision to finish offering my event styling and hire services. With my son having moved out of home, my daughter quickly growing up, my husband dividing his time between work and home and my parents & sister living 5 hours away, I want my spare time to be spent enjoying every moment as it comes with my family. I would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of my amazing Clients who have placed their trust in me to create their specials days. I feel truely blessed to have been given so many opportunities to bring your ideas to life. That was my dream when I started Very Vintage and I can confidently say that I know I have achieved that. The name Very Vintage will stay and so will my sign writing and engraving, but event hire and set-up will no longer be provided. From the bottom of my heart I thank you all for your interest in what I do, for your kind comments and for giving me the opportunity to carry out a passion of mine...I will forever be thankful x

03.01.2022 A couple of signs I painted for Christmas gifts this past Christmas. This timber, which is out of an old cattle yard, is perfect for that sturdy, rustic looking sign. All outdoor signs are varnished to protect them from the weather. 02.01.2022 I have been super quiet on my page, been doing a little more of this instead As you all know I had my Very Vintage items up for sale late last year and have been lucky enough to sell them as a whole to their next owner, who I know will love creating with them as much as I did. So now, Very Vintage is the home of custom signage and freehand engraving. If you have a special sign or board you’d like painted on, or a keepsake you’d like engraved, please give me a call! This was originally a shelf in her Grandma’s shoe shop...how wonderful to be able to repurpose it for the front sign of The Reiki Hut.
