24.01.2022 It may not feel like it yet but spring has sprung! Don't forget, dogs and cats can get seasonal allergies just like humans! Keep an eye out for the telltale signs that your furry family member is having a rough time this season.

23.01.2022 Dog's all cope with vision loss differently. This one just needed a little extra help.

22.01.2022 Happy Easter from everyone at VOR!!!!! Easter is a time where it's not just the kids that enjoy the pretty Easter baskets filled with yummy chocolate eggs, our puppies are more then likely to have a sniff as well! This time of year we have to be extra vigilant with our fur babies around all that chocolate as it is very poisonous for them. We may indulge ourselves but remember to keep all those gifts from the Easter Bunny out of reach of your pets.

19.01.2022 Another heatwave is upon us! Please remember to provide plenty of fresh, cool water for your pets, and even wildlife who are stuck outside during these next few days. Where possible, keep pets inside, but if there is no other option then for them to be outside, provide plenty of shade, place ice bricks in their water bowls, and even freeze some tasty treats in blocks of ice to keep them refreshed and occupied through out the day!

18.01.2022 A lot of people often ask if it's only cats and dogs we see at our clinic. And the short answer is, no. We see any animal that has a problem with their eyes. Recently we saw Jack, the Wedge Tailed Eagle. He was bought to us from the Raptor Domain on Kangaroo Island by his keeper Dave. Raptor Domain - Kangaroo Island Birds of Prey aim to create awareness and interest in these amazing creatures, and generate appreciation and the want to conserve and protect.

18.01.2022 With all the hot weather at the moment, take time to make a plan for how to keep your four legged family member cool!

15.01.2022 VOLUNTARY PRODUCT RECALL - HILL'S!!! Hills Pet Nutrition is voluntarily recalling select canned dog food products due to potentially elevated levels of vitamin D. Please check to see if a product you may use is on this list. No dry foods, cat foods, or treats are affected.

14.01.2022 And we're back up and running!! Thank you for your patience

13.01.2022 Please be aware that there are construction works happening next door to the clinic which is causing one lane of Anzac Hwy to be closed at times throughout the day. Take care when entering the clinic from the road.

12.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone!! A reminder that we will be CLOSED over this Easter long weekend. We will reopen on Tuesday April 23rd. If you have an emergency, please contact your regular vet. Your vet may contact us via our after hours emergency contact if they need treatment advice. Stay safe, and we will see you all soon!

12.01.2022 SPOT THE 'B' Some people who have visited our clinic have been lucky enough to spot the elusive 'B Man'. He spends most of his days outside enjoying the sunshine, but on occasion he likes to give us the opportunity to shower him in attention and cuddles, which he takes full advantage of, when it suits him of course. However, like most cats, he has the innate ability to find comfort and solitude in the most interesting of places. Today's 'Find That Cat' hiding place ....... completely wrapped in an old blanket, on the porch at the back of the clinic, with only his little nose poking out.

10.01.2022 The scorching days of summer may have passed, but it's still important to keep our four legged family members in mind now that winter has well and truly hit!

09.01.2022 Hopefully it doesn't get this hot again! But here's a reminder of what you can do to help any pets or wildlife affected by the heat!

04.01.2022 Our clinic cat 'B'
