21.01.2022 Our Mission- The Victorian Disabled Diving and Healing Centre will be the first centre of many that will give people with disabilities access to daily scuba diving activities and therapy sessions. The psychological healing powers of SCUBA diving are vast and it is our intent to share them with as many people as we can, but mostly to people who never thought it was possible. We aim to credibly prove the psychological and physiological benefits of weightlessness while SCUBA di...ving through partnerships with occupational therapists and physiotherapist. Physical and psychological illness has dragged many down. We want to help people find that sense of achievement, of peace, of excitement, of gratitude or strength that some people find difficult to tap into. With a focus on providing a safe, nurturing and special space and getting people with disabilities, anxiety or depression immersed in the underwater world, we aim to give people in need that experience, or many experiences, that will make them feel better than before they came through our doors.
