20.01.2022 More fish today for Amokura. The team is certainly seeing out 2020 in fine style.
18.01.2022 Memories from many years ago, current club President Higgs pictured his first big yellowfin tuna on the 12 mile at Bermagui. Weighing in at 94.6 KGS on 24kg line, taken on a trolled lure. Don’t see to many yellowfin like that! Ps. Love the shoes Higgs
17.01.2022 A little video from a few years back to help pass the lockdown blues! Hopefully we’ll be out fishing again very soon Higgs, Anton and Arthur helping Cindy land a great albacore. Pity the leader was too long as it would have beaten current records https://youtu.be/FsR_D9brj0M

12.01.2022 Fingers crossed our NSW friends continue to suppress the COVID numbers so that we can participate in this great event. Looking forward to seeing our friends from north of the border in late Jan.
12.01.2022 The new dates for the Canberra Yellowfin Tournament have been announced.
10.01.2022 We had just received advice that former member through the 70’s and 80’s. Barry Reddick passed away on April 7th, 2020 aged 80. Barry was a very keen fisherman enjoying club trips and within his close mates many trips to Cairns, Bermagui, New Zealand and all around Victoria. After leaving the club he owned the Bemm River Hotel until it burnt down in 1992. Due to this fire most of our family photos of those days have perished. ... On the off chance older members may have any photos they would care to share to [email protected] or send through messenger Enjoy this old pic of Barry with a nice Black Marlin caught off Bermagui in January 1981
09.01.2022 Congratulations to the crew on Amokura for the first marlin of the season to a VGFC registered vessel. Great work and we hope this is the first of many for the year.
