Vickers Home Improvements were lucky enough to be one of the chosen businesses by Yellow to be represented on the cover of this year’s book. 22.01.2022 Two new Shademaster patio roofs completed on the same house during the past week. The front consisted of a skillion single skin roof to create a sitting area next to the front door. Whilst at the rear of the home, a 12.8m long single skin roof, including centre gable section for added aesthetics was constructed. Both roofs were coloured to complement the existing dwelling and 90mm columns incorporated as per the customers request. We have attached some before and after pi...ctures to show the outcome. Our client wanted the additions blend in and not look like an afterthought and her compliments when the projects were completed confirmed we achieved her brief. See more

19.01.2022 After 15 years of debating whether or not to add a deck and patio roof to the rear of their home, our happy clients from Cessnock are over the moon with the outcome. The new deck consisting of treated pine bearers and joists, merbau decking boards, powder coated aluminium balustrade and powder coated aluminium privacy screen, is perfectly accompanied by the 55mm thick insulated patio roof. The addition was constructed over the top of an existing brick and concrete ramp, this will be concealed by screening at a later date. The view from the deck looking over towards the mountains is spectacular, the ultimate place to sit and relax.

18.01.2022 Every year on the 29th September the Family at Vickers Home Improvements attach a blue ribbon to their vehicles in support of Police Remembrance Day and 2020 was no exception.

17.01.2022 Our client wanted to eliminate the existing external blinds from their alfresco area and enclose with glass sliding doors and windows. A combination of sliding door units and sliding windows with fixed low lites achieved the outcome they were hoping for.

15.01.2022 Has your existing timber and alsonite patio roof seen batter days ? Why not look at replacing it with a new insulated patio roof. Below is a before and after picture of a patio roof replacement done by the Vickers team at a property in Elermore Vale. Why not use the cooler months to upgrade your existing roof so that it’s ready for use when the weather starts to warm up again.

04.01.2022 One of the best ways to social distance. Have a new deck and patio roof constructed for somewhere to sit at home and have a cup of tea. Our happy customers from Cardiff wanted to remove their existing window, replace it with a new sliding door unit which opened out on to a new deck with accompanying patio roof. It gives them the perfect area to sit and have a cup of tea or cook a BBQ. The area consists of a new powder coated aluminium door unit, single skin W panel patio roof, merbau decking boards and stairs with aluminium powder coated balustrade.
