20.01.2022 A productive day in the studio yesterday with the adults art class continuing to work on their prints. Such lovely results.

06.01.2022 Primo A o Primo B? Mosaico o quadretto decorativo? Singolo o in gruppo? Corso primo B, questi quadretti a mosaico sono un lavoro degli allievi della maestra Ele...na Pauletto. Sono opere di dimensioni ridotte, ma pur sempre occasione per gli allievi di sperimentare aspetti nuovi e diversi di quell'arte musiva a cui si sono avvicinati. Non dimentichiamoci che gli allievi del Primo corso studiano il mosaico antico per imparare a tagliare le tessere quadrate (con la martellina!) e a applicarle in maniera diretta e indiretta seguendo gli andamenti del mosaico romano. Così mentre nella frutta hanno sperimentato la tecnica del rovescio su carta, nei vasi di fiori hanno preso ispirazione dai pavimenti romani per disporre le tessere seguendo dapprima il contorno della figura per riempire poi lo sfondo con file orizzontali. Tra mosaico e quadretto decorativo, quindi, scegliamo entrambi. Sono decorativi perché presentano soggetti di gusto contemporaneo, hanno forme essenziali, giocano con materie naturali, sono eleganti nei colori e nelle linee. Sono mosaici non solo perché presentano delle tessere, ma anche perché utilizzano tecniche e modalità proprie dell'arte musiva. A noi piacciono molto in gruppo, vicini nella loro somiglianza pur con dettagli diversi, dove colori e forme si richiamano. Il loro stare in gruppo ci fa ricordare il lavoro condotto da allievi e insegnanti durante l'anno, un lavoro di squadra dove si avanza assieme pur mantenendo la propria personalità (creativa!). Ah, ci stavamo dimenticando, queste opere sono esposte alla mostra Mosaico&Mosaici 2020! Dopo la registrazione all'ingresso, entrate nell'aula a sinistra e guardate alla vostra destra. #scuolamosaicistidelfriuli
