16.01.2022 Our education advisory panel held its Term 4 meeting online today. The panel includes teachers, teacher educators and parliamentary staff. They meet once every term of the school year to provide specialist input to our parliamentary education resources and activities. We are grateful to them for the work they have undertaken this year.

16.01.2022 The parliamentary inquiry into the Victorian Government’s COVID-19 contact tracing system and testing regime will hold its first public hearings on Monday 16 November and Wednesday 18 November. 16.01.2022 Staff from six Pacific and Australian state parliaments got together online today for a professional development workshop focusing on parliamentary committee work. Joining in were staff from the Parliament of the Republic of Fiji; Parliament of Samoa; Legislative Assembly of Tonga FALE ALEA 'O TONGA; Parliament of South Australia - House of Assembly and Legislative Council; Tasmanian Parliament and Victorian Parliament. The workshop was part of a twinning program between Australian and Pacific parliaments aimed at enhancing parliamentary skills through shared learning.
