Julie has been on the streets, in the churches and on our TV screens for decades, campaigning for liberty and equality for the LGBTIQ community. Julie is busy with her wife being a grandmother to a newborn at the moment and her words for today are, "Coming out as a lesbian in public life, in our workplace and in our family is the most important contribution we make to full equality for rainbow people. In some communities it is still not safe to be visible. We are all working together to change that!".
