19.01.2022 An estimated 1015% of a population has tinnitus but most cases go untreated. This is due to a lack of information and the fact that most people are unaware of who will understand their condition or assist them. While some cases are minor, some require more specific treatment to overcome possible long term side-effects. Although there is no cure for tinnitus, there are various effective forms of counselling and treatments available at Victorian Hearing. #tinnitus #tinnitusrelief #hearingaids #audiologist #hearingprofessional #hearingspecialist #phonaklyric

09.01.2022 Not sure if you need to see an Audiologist? Take a moment to answer the below questions. Should you answer 'yes' to one or more of these, we invite you to book a hearing assessment. Early intervention enables best positive outcomes! Do you frequently ask people to repeat themselves? When in a group, do you find it difficult to keep up with the conversation?... Do you often complain about others mumbling or not speaking clearly? Do you have difficulty understanding what someone else is saying when you are in a crowded place eg: restaurant, shop, office? Are children or people with high-pitched voices particularly difficult to understand? Do others complain that you have the TV or radio turned up way too high? Do you hear ringing in your ears when there is no apparent outside source? Do you find it harder to understand people when you are not face-to-face with them? Do you find yourself avoiding going out with friends or skipping family gatherings more than you used to? Do/did you work in any environments that exposed you to very loud sounds either once or over a long period? Do you find people around you reacting to sounds eg: dogs barking, children laughing, birds singing - that you just don’t hear? It may be time to get your hearing professionally assessed. https://ed.gr/c5kpd #hearingaidchecklist #whentodoahearingtest #hearingloss #hardtohear #hearingimpaired #hearinghealth #hearingcheck #hearingassessement #hearingtest #audiologist

01.01.2022 One of the most common reasons why hearing aids can stop working is the excessive build-up of wax which blocks your hearing aids. If you are unsure on how to address this, our friendly Audiologists can assist and teach you how to do this at home. If your hearing aid performance is still impacted, it may need to be looked at by our trained staff or one of our Audiologists. Just like our cars, even our hearing aids need a service every now and then too.` https://ed.gr/c5kpk #hearingaidnotworking #hearingaidrepair #hearingaidstoppedworking #hearingaidbatteries #hearingaidmaintenance #hearingaidcare #hearingaidmaintenance #hearingaidservice
