16.01.2022 Cancellation of Rainbow Desert Enduro 560 On behalf of the VORRA Committee and the Rainbow Race Committee, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Nat...ional event, Rainbow Desert Enduro 560, in August 2020. This decision was not made lightly, and due to the amount of voluntary work and effort that goes into organising and preparing a National event, with the unknown timeline of restriction changes and the risk of transmission of COVID19, both publicly and within the sport, we have to make a call at this time. Our members, Volunteers, Officials, Competitors and the Rainbow Township, are our number one priority when it comes to health and safety. Motorsport Australia have been informed of our decision and of course they, like of all us, are disappointed, but fully respect and support our decision. There will be an official announcement from them also. We trust that you respect our decision. VORRA and the Rainbow community, look forward to hosting the Rainbow Rises 240 in March 2021 and seeing as many of you there as possible. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]. Tony Carabott President

16.01.2022 VORRA extends its condolences to the Baker family. Gary was a founding member of BAV (Buggy Association of Victoria, now VORRA) and a committee member over many years. Off Roading would not be where it is today without his passion and input.

09.01.2022 RENTSCH DUO ENTERS AORC RECORD BOOKS AS EIGHT-TIME CHAMPIONS Shannon and Ian Rentsch have entered the history books as eight-times Australian Off Road Champions... after being declared outright victors of the 2015 Championship and the Aus#1 plate. The #1 Hog's Breath Cafe / BFGoodrich Tires Australia & New Zealand racing team have been the dominant force in offroad racing the past three seasons, which saw them take a second hat-trick of championships and an impressive seven out of 13 event wins in that time. Rentsch claimed his first national title back in 2004, before back-to-back titles from 2004 to 2006. More victories came in 2008 and 2009 before the last three years in a row from 2013 to 2015. Last year’s seventh title put Rentsch on equal footing with legendary Pro Buggy steerer Mark Burrows. FULL STORY HERE: http://www.aorc.com.au/rentsch-duo-enters-aorc-record-book/
