21.01.2022 Our Chairman David Mann, the Board and CEO Neil Soullier offer our congratulations to DC Shane Patton on his appointment as our new Chief Commissioner of Police.... We’ve all shared some pretty tumultuous times so far in 2020 and it’s comforting to know that our Police Force and the State’s emergency response will be in very safe and experienced hands. Along with our members, volunteers and supporters we will continue to work with our community to honour and remember members of Victoria Police who have died in the line of duty and, when our new Chief Commissioner takes over we will formally invite him to become our Patron. We would also like to acknowledge and thank the outgoing Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton for his many years of support and contributions to the Foundation. 08.01.2022 May 18-24 is National Volunteer Week, a chance for us all to show appreciation to the millions of Australians who give their time to support our community. We g...ive thanks to the hundreds of people across Victoria who volunteer their time to support our Foundation. Many of our volunteers work full time in various fields including serving Vic Pol members, some are retirees, students and also families of the fallen. They give their time and expertise to run our 17 branches across Victoria, serving on our committees, raising awareness, supporting our events and so many other activities. The Foundation has funded almost 60 major public hospital and community projects in honour of those that have died in the line of duty. None of these projects would have happened without the amazing contribution of our volunteers and the community who support them. We salute you all. #NVW #givingthanks #volunteers

07.01.2022 We were pleased to have the opportunity to forward a cheque on behalf of Blue Ribbon Head Office to the Northern Hospital for $1,220. The funds were raised as part of a special COVID-19 appeal, with donations and all funds raised through the purchase of Constable T Bears allocated to the purchaser’s nominated hospital. Close to $70,000 was raised for 74 health facilities.
