Thanks to Will at Livefast cafe and the Hallsgap zoo for a gr8t interview on channel 7 exposing the importance of a town relying on tourism to support and survive for the future of Hallsgap moving forward but you have people that say stay away . It's very confusing. I am a owner of a holiday rental and offer my house in this very trying time but my main focus is to support the businesses in genera...l. I can shut my property down and survive this pandemic but it's the livelihood around me. They will come if not my house someone else's. So I can control what I can control. Follow the Covid restrictions encourage social distances and let these local businesses get a fare go at staying alive staying afloat in the safest way within the restrictions required. I encourage eat out visit the zoo play mini golf drink local wines beers produce climb a mountain but most of all DO IT SAFE. We are all at risk so let's take ownership in doing the right thing. 02.01.2022 I'm not one for using social media for my thoughts and opinions on things but given what our country and world is going through I am hoping this can be shared throughout this social platform. For those who know me Jamie and I are fortunate to have a Rustic Mudbrick Holiday Home Viewsonhighroad in beautiful Hallsgap Grampians Victoria a place close to our heart which we sometimes use but also rent to holiday makers all around Australia and the world to experience not only Hall...sgap but also the Grampians region. As we all should know by now rules and restrictions are in place for quarantine social distance non essential travel and while many of us are complying some people are just not getting it . I am still getting people wanting to book my holiday home over the Easter weekend and being the diplomatic person I am responded in a professional manner. Hallsgap and the Grampians region will be heavily policed this weekend a blitz in the whole area holiday homes caravan parks motels free campsites the national parks nothing is opened so why would you go there but for those that will expect to be fined. Hallsgap community doesnt want you there they are trying to adhere to the restrictions and keep this virus out of one of the most pretty places Australia has to offer so STAY THE F@(K away See more
