25.01.2022 Cooking ahead to have yummy roasted strawberry crumble on hand for brekky in the middle of packing and moving house. I made another fruity crumble using some apples and a couple of spoonfuls of apricot jam from the fridge and some dried apricots in a jar - using up left over food is part of moving after all. Let’s make the most if our day wherever we are and whatever we’re doing!

25.01.2022 Fruity breakfast! I’ve been loving the crunch of diced apples with my muesli and yoghurt rather than grated apples. Lately I’ve been adding diced new season‘s strawberries and can hardly wait to add cherries! Happy day everyone!

23.01.2022 Happy day everyone! I just had to share these amazing roses in my little garden with you. All my plants are loving the lovely warmer weather and spring rains here in Melbourne

22.01.2022 Veggie and black bean yum! I cooked the beans and barley ahead of time and added lots of baby spinach leaves at the end. It’s great to have cooked grains and beans, peas and lentils on hand for quick and easy one pot meals

18.01.2022 When your shopping matches your shirt! Spotted this colourful customer at Coburg Farmers Market yesterday after he purchased these goodies from our lovely neighbour Thriving Foods Farm where the produce is grown, handled and displayed with great care and respect

16.01.2022 Sweet juicy cherries make the perfect healthy summer snack! Pop them into snack sized cups or storage containers in the fridge so they are easy to grab when you‘re hungry. You can pop the pips and stalks back into the cup as you eat the cherries and tip them into your compost afterwards. These ones were kindly gifted by Wandin Valley Farms from their farm gate shop

15.01.2022 Lucky me to have such a yummy lunch of steamed asparagus tips with garlicky asparagus and green pea pesto with sourdough bread, haloumi, extra virgin olive oil and a good squeeze of lemon Thanks to Cloud Produce for gifting me luscious asparagus to enjoy during the week. I’ve been loving meeting our customers at the Cloud Produce asparagus stall which we set up on weekends at Coburg, Eltham and Flemington Farmers Markets. Our customers love our green, white and purple asparagus! Hope you are having a delicious day too!

14.01.2022 Loving the peaches, nectarines and berries around right now and enjoying fruity summer breakfasts. I’ve been so busy unpacking and settling into my new home and office that I haven’t stopped to take pics to share but remembered this one of luscious maple roasted peaches I took last year. I hope you’re enjoying your day wherever you are!

12.01.2022 Another cherry gift idea Purchase a colourful lunchbox or lunch bag, pop in a chill brick and fill with cherries! Great gifts don’t have to cost a fortune

11.01.2022 Making a delicious strawberry crumble from big sweet juicy strawberries from Spirli Strawberrit’s in Wandin, one of our lovely neighbours at Eltham Farmers Market. They class these beauties as seconds but we loved eating them fresh and found them to be big enough to make a lovely snack on their own. Perfect for popping in lunchboxes too! After removing the hulls and chopping the strawberries roughly I sprinkled them with a little maple syrup and topped them with a hearty crumble mix of rolled oats, coconut, chopped almonds, a little wholemeal flour, cinnamon, honey (or you could use maple syrup) and a mix of butter and extra virgin olive oil . Then into the oven until cooked through, about 30 minutes. Great for dessert but healthy and wholesome enough for brekky too!

11.01.2022 Sweet and juicy roasted summer fruits are so easy to make when you have the oven on. Rub little extra virgin olive oil over the bottom of the pan, top with peaches, apricots, nectarines or plums and pitted cherries. Next drizzle with a little honey or maple syrup and cook at 190 degrees C until tender, 15-20 minutes. Enjoy at once or store in a container in the fridge for brekky or a yummy snack with yoghurt

11.01.2022 Spring is here and summer is near - hooray! Here’s a flashback to fun picking cherries at Chapple’s U-pick, one of the fabulous orchards on the Victorian Cherry Trail. I can hardly wait to get out and about amongst cherries again! Do you love cherries as much as I do?

10.01.2022 My little strawberry pot is loving the sunny spring days as much as me and is bursting with ripe and ready strawberries - so yummy to snack on in my little garden. Hope everyone is enjoying the harvests of the season wherever you are!

09.01.2022 Looking for a festive gift idea that’s sure to please? Pick up a box of cherries from your local greengrocer, market or cherry orchard farm gate shop and add some ribbon and a personalised gift card

We’re there bringing Cloud Produce green, white and purple asparagus to our lovely customers each fortnight. It‘s so good to meet other producers and try one another’s products!

07.01.2022 Fruit to go! Sending love and sharing the first pic taken at my new place just before heading off to my sons and his partners new apartment for a family catch up and a walk in their gorgeous local park. Avoiding plastic wrap, I put a strengthened glass cloche on top and taped it down at the sides. Hooray it arrived safely!

06.01.2022 After a particularly busy few months and the onset of chilly weather here in Melbourne I’m enjoying cooking up some yummy veggies and black beans. Loving my new place and sending love to everyone

02.01.2022 Sharing a yummy salad with you I simply added farm fresh goodies from fellow traders at Eltham Farmers Market to cooked Puy lentils - Ross Tomatoes, Alpine Walnuts and a dressing based on Hildebrand Grove extra virgin olive oil with apple cider vinegar. I added sunflower sprouts thoughtfully purchased by my son Des who knows how much I love sunflowers!
