09.01.2022 Update on Harvest Market online. We'd just like to remind you that you can order Village Olive Grove olive oil through the Harvest Market online. If you live in the following postcode-areas: 7248; 7249; 7250, your order will be delivered to your home. If you live outside these postcode areas, you can now put in your order, do click and collect and pick it up on Saturday.... PS. a very good tip would be for you to buy one of our 3-litre tins. This is REALLY GOOD VALUE. At $90 a tin, this works out to be a mere $30 a litre. 03.01.2022 You've heard the song "In the bleak midwinter". Well...bleak doesn't apply to our winter where we are in Tasmania. We are in our grove in Grindelwald and the sun is shining, the birds are singing and the olives continue to oblige by cheerfully being nudged off the trees and soon after becoming luscious olive oil. It doesn't get any better than this.
01.01.2022 Harvesting is happening. Right now the temperature is -2 (feels like -5 they say), so we'll wait an hour before starting today. Hopefully it will soon get to 0 degrees, and by then we should be able to feel our fingers. In the meantime, some photos from yesterday and the days before.... Enjoy the cold weather. :)
