23.01.2022 Honouring loved ones With the current restrictions of attendance numbers at funerals, we are assisting families by waiving our live streaming fees at this time. We can live stream at any venue - chapel, cemetery - anywhere.... Live stream can be either private for families to give the link to those they wish to join them, or public access for anynone from our website home page. (A Facebook account is required). The live stream of the funeral can be viewed live or at any time in the future on the page. This live stream page stays online indefinitely and is a memorial where family and friends can put messages of support and share their grief. Here is a testimonial we received after a recent live stream from Circular Head: "I would like to thank you all for the live feed I experienced with the funeral of my grandfather. You guys did an absolutely fantastic job and I would recommend you to anyone in Tasmania. You cannot be thanked enough. Thanks, Darran Hatten" ...assisting all family & friends to remember and grieve.

20.01.2022 Vincent Funeral Services remain committed to providing meaningful funeral services at this difficult time. Social distancing guidelines affect the number of people who may attend a funeral service. We are limited to one person every 4 square metres (including staff). Burnie... Our combined chapel and overflow chapel can hold 48 mourners, an additional 22 may attend in the foyer (total 70) with up to 200 or so outside. Ulverstone Our combined chapel and overflow area can hold 38 mourners, an additional 22 may attend in the Garden Room (total 60) with up to 200 or so outside. Devonport Our chapel can hold 25 mourners, an additional 15 may attend in the overflow area, and 18 in the Refreshment Centre (total 58) with up to 200 or so outside. All people inside will be able to see and hear, while outside people will only be able to hear. It is important to identify the numbers of immediate family and close friends so seats may be reserved. Graveside and Outside Funerals Up to 500 mourners may attend Viewings Viewings will proceed as normal with small groups entering the viewing room at a time. Refreshments Due to the health risks involved refreshments will not be available at this time. Live Streaming We will waive our usual fees for live streaming, the live stream may be viewed by any number of people, live or after the funeral (Facebook account required). We have already noticed an extreme drop off in numbers attending funerals as people stay away so the numbers available will be sufficient for most funerals. Please refrain from handshakes, hugs, kisses etc. Hand sanitiser is provided (while stock lasts). Please remember, if you are unwell, or concerned about your health, please stay away.

06.01.2022 Our rolling sponsor this time around is long time East Devonport sponsor Vincent Funeral Services. Director Peter Vincent has a long history of financially supp...orting football clubs, and of course was President of the Burnie Dockers for several years in recent times. While its fair to say no-ones in a hurry to call on the services his business provides, Peter and the team cover the coast, and with chapels in Devonport, Ulverstone and Burnie, they can take some of the pain out of a very difficult time. Keep Vincent Funeral Services in mind, and thanks again Peter.
