25.01.2022 Friday Flashback To a time when the kids and their friends were young, the parents too, and Jasper! The youngest in this photo is almost 22.

25.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone. We trust you've had a great day with family and friends. Taking you back 5 years to Christmas Day 2015 - a younger frisky Jasper.

23.01.2022 FRIDAY FLASHBACK One of our very first harvests, long before there was a winery on site, and we took our grapes away to be processed into wine. With a little help from the neighbour and his truck, and family too.

22.01.2022 CARMENERE - an ancient European variety, originally planted in the Medoc, France, it is now rarely found there, but has found a home in Chile. Deep red in colour, with often a cheery like flavour.

20.01.2022 GRACIANO A red wine grape that comes from Spain, mostly grown in the Rioja region. Loves warm arid climates and produces a wine that is deep red in colour and rich in flavour. Locally from Geographe we can recommend Mazza Wines - Western Australia.

20.01.2022 On this Sunday at Old Coast Road Brewery. Pop up to Vineyard 28 to add some wine or maybe a handmade quilt as a Christmas present

18.01.2022 Congratulations to our winemaker, Mark. Nice review in today’s West Australian newspaper in Ray Jordan’s Cellar Talk column. Nebbiolo available online and at our cellar door.

16.01.2022 DORNFELDER - a variety that was bred in Germany in the 1950's. This is a red grape who's wines are dark, rich and velvety with juicy aromatics.

16.01.2022 DURIF - a French variety bred from a cross between Syrah and Pelourisin. Introduced into Australia by a pioneering viticulturalist, Francois de Castella. The wines are full bodied, intensely flavoured and deep in colour. Think black plums, liquorice and red cherries. Locally in Geographe we'd recommend the Mandalay Road Wines Durif.

15.01.2022 Jasper was very spoilt today, receiving a gift from a lovely Sydney customer. Think Pip might have to do the reading though. ‘Love, Clancy’ by Richard Glover. Letters from a dog to his owners.

02.01.2022 So today we launched our Sparkling Pignoletto with our lovely customers. And revealed the beautiful artwork that adorns our label, created especially by Yvonne's Artwork for us to reflect the Wildwater Vineyard terroir. A very special thank you to everyone who attended, and to Yvonne and Laine for helping out too.

02.01.2022 Just a reminder that booking ahead for the Long Weekend is a good idea. Look forward to seeing you all at the cellar door.

01.01.2022 We will have our cellar door open between Christmas and New Year for all our wine experiences. We do recommend booking ahead, particularly for groups of 4 or more.

01.01.2022 FIANO - a strongly flavoured southern Italian white grape. Mark is looking forward to making our first vintage of this in 2021. The wines from Fiano tend to be intensely flavoured and aromatic with honey notes.

01.01.2022 EARLY CLOSING TODAY Cellar door will close at 2pm today for tastings as we are hosting a private ticketed event. See you all tomorrow.

01.01.2022 CABERNET FRANC - well known grape which is often used for blending with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It is lighter than Cabernet Sauvignon, and some of the best expressions of this can be found from the Great Southern here in Western Australia.
