24.01.2022 The best way to overcome fear is to take action. Fear can incapacitate you and it shows up everywhere in all forms. When this happens take a step back, ignore the fear for a minute, and put a plan in place with manageable steps. Then take it one step at a time, and work your way through. Often you will find that your fears are not confirmed and even if you experience a minor setback, it would have made you stronger and wiser. Has fear impacted you in your business this year? 17.01.2022 We find ourselves in very uncertain and trying times... This crisis seems so surreal. On the one hand it feels like life as usual, but when you go to the shops it feels like armageddon. Right now I kinda just want to shut my phone off and forget about social media. I know that it can be a really negative space right now, but I have to ask... If you are sitting at home practicing physical distancing while scrolling through Facebook, PLEASE show some love to the pages you scr...oll by, especially those small business pages, those run by friends or family, those businesses that you know are struggling to make ends meet. , . It might not matter to you, you might not want that service at all, but someone you know might. YOU have the power to increase the reach of that page by participating. Please don't just scroll on by... The uncertainty of the next few months weighs very heavy on my heart. I can only hope for the best, plan for the worst, and pray that we all pull together instead of tearing each other apart. Stay strong everyone...

17.01.2022 #SOLETRADERS Federal Assistance for sole traders with no staff: STEP BY STEP GUIDE:... If you are going to try and claim the Job Seeker payment (formally Newstart) 1. You can claim if you are earning less than $1075.00 a fortnight. 2. It is income tested, so your partners wage WILL be taken into account. (Threshold is $48k p.a but might change in future) 3. It is NOT asset tested. 4.You will need a CRN (CUSTOMER REFERENCE NUMBER) first from centerlink. At the moment the only way to get one of these, if you have never dealt with CentreLink before, is to go to an office. (24/03/2020 - news said they will now only do verifications over the phone.. to be confirmed) You will need 3 forms of ID: passport, drivers licence and a bank statement or ATM card. 5. Once you have the CRN, you go to your MyGov account online and link it with centerlink. 6. Once the above is done, you can apply for Job Seeker via MyGov. Note that payments for this are not starting until 27th April, so take this into account when budgeting etc for the next month.

07.01.2022 What have I been up to? Why have I been so quiet? ClickUp... That's what! When I started my business I would have never anticipated the very many little tasks there would be to do. Not only for my clients, but for myself, and lets not forget that never ending list of things you need to remember to do for your own family. But it's not just a task - its not just a to-do.... It is - when is this supposed to be done again? - what are the steps I need to do to get it done? - where did I save the info last time? folder? email? links in chats from ages ago? its everywhere! Time spent tracking and sourcing and figuring out each task every time was simply put time wasted! I was going no where fast! I signed up with ClickUp somewhere in May. The first thing I did was just brain dumped everything I could think of that I know I had to do - and everything that I have written down in my note books (7 of them) and everything from my Google task lists. I had well over 70 major tasks to do! After some organisation within ClickUp - every task got a priority, date, and its respective resources allocated to each and every task that would include the emails, images, chats, videos - anything and everything to do with that task right there in one place. My tasks got grouped - Business Admin - Client work - Personal stuff. Prior to ClickUp all this was just one big mess and 7 months couldn't see me make a dent in my to-do's. After ClickUp - everything has been done in around 2 months and I am finally on track and at peace ! ClickUp is my boss now. I simply log on everyday - and it tells me what I need to do. ONE CLICK - and everything I need to know is before me. The info I need to complete the task, when by, the priority of it, links, time spent so far, estimated time to complete - EVERYTHING! Best part is - I am not even using 1% of the tool. It is MINDBLOWING! So that is what I have been up to. More news to follow soon! Watch this space!
