25.01.2022 COVID-19 Period - There is plenty of good news for Australians and Foreign workers living in Australia, as compare to most other parts of the world. For instance, if Australian Govt save businesses by this funding, 482 and 457 workers can save their employment. So far, 4 Billion Dollars (4,000,000,000) have been announced for guaranteed release by Australian Government for 26 Million (26,000,000) Australians, whether Citizens or Temporary visa holders if their employers are s...aved from bankruptcy. Saved business means possible job safety for overseas employees. As at this stage govt is not paying out to overseas workers, but this may happen soon as in one or two other developed nations. Plenty of Food, Medicine and Shelter for everyone in Australia Everyone is being looked after as if the businesses are saved, employment is saved. Plenty of beds as per improving graph of COVID-19 patients as per Deputy CMO of Australias statement Businesses will be paying their staff as normal if they can justify that they have lost 30% or more income because of COVID-19. From the first week of May this year, businesses will be able to claim back $1,500 per fortnight for paid wages to those full time, part time and casual employees, that have been working for business fir over 12 months until 1 March 2020. For Sole Traders - Claim funding from Australian Govt if you have lost more than 20% of your income. We know most of Taxi Operators and Uber operators have lost at least 50% income if not much more! Talk to your accountant to apply for Govt support! Everyone, need not to worry, all mouths will be fed and medications are being provided where necessary. Still need assistance? Contact Visa Point on [email protected] If you develop a fever, a cough, sore throat or shortness of breath within 14 days of overseas travel, contact a doctor or call 13HEALTH (13 43 25 84). Australian Government is making sure that all individuals and families are fed, whether International Students, Foreign Workers (Saved employer means possible job safety) Australians.
