Here are a few picks on what's happening this weekend: The Queanbeyan Hive is showcasing the works of Patrick Morison, the winner of The Hive Exhibition Award in 2019 QPRC Regional Arts Awards until 19th December. Harriet Schwarzrock, who has exhibited extensively throughout Australia and abroad, opens her studio... at 114 Uriarra Road from 10am - 4pm on Saturday. Suki & Hugh Gallery & Canberra Glassworks present 'Adaptation', an exhibition featuring the works of 9 exceptional artists. Free tickets to timed sessions available on Canberra Glassworks website. The solo exhibition of Kirstie Rea's new works is also opening on Saturday at Suki & Hugh Gallery. As every Saturday, the Bungendore Southern Harvest Farmers Markets are on from 9am to 12pm, offering a great range of fruit, vegetables, herbs, spices, meat products, local preserves, eggs, garlic, honey, wine and more. Check out some of our picks of the month below Friends of live music are in for a treat this weekend with Julius Dator Music taking the stage tonight, and Chad Croker tomorrow night, at Hotel Queanbeyan. You may still be able to grab some of the tickets up for re-sell for guitar virtuoso Daniel Champagne’s sold out live show at the... National Theatre in Braidwood this Sunday. Le Tres Bon’s offering not one but two cooking classes for the little ones during school holidays. Try the hands-on cooking classes for French style sausage rolls on Thursday, 14th Jan, or the Strawberry and Chantilly cream feuillantine on Thursday, 21st Jan.
