25.01.2022 Just cause I’m pregnant it’s not an excuse to stop training. Today was my first Bootcamp session since being pregnant. I took some time away to listen to my body and take some extra rest/naps when needed. I’ve heard I should get as much sleep now as possible haha However, now that I’m 15 weeks pregnant I’m feeling less tired and I’m intending to incorporate some Bootcamp sessions along with my 3 x weight training sessions each week... Although I do need to make some changes to my training to insure I’m not putting any extra stress/pressure on my body. I worked at a lower intensity today I took extra rest needed I modified exercises accordingly Instead of finding of excuses of what you can’t do find what works for your body and make modifications if needed. If you want to take that next step in training here’s is my current update of my Body Toner Program availability schedule. 23.01.2022 Reality check.... You won’t lose weight every week You won’t increase weights every workout You will skip workouts You will go over your calories... You may feel bloated Your measurement may go up at times You might take progress pics & see little to no change Progress isn’t always linear. There are days where you feel freakn AMAZING and like a superhuman! You nail your food prep, you train like a beast & feel SO GOOD! You will always have days where you might struggle to lift weights you usually can, you might cave into cravings, you might feel unmotivated & just not in the zone. It’s reality. It’s life. Don’t feel discouraged if this has happened to you. Expect it, accept it and move on. If you are in a rough patch and if you have fallen off track...just know it’s okay! Tomorrow is a new day. There is always an opportunity to progress and move forward. How you react to such things is up to you and will determine your long term success

You invest in your financial future, work hard, provide for your family and the lifestyle you wish to lead, but do you put energy and time into your wellbeing?... You want to enjoy the rewards for all the hard work you do, yet without your health, none of this is possible. The importance of our health often takes a back seat until illness or injury arises, when those symptoms rear their head and we get stopped in our tracks. Then all of a sudden we become aware that the lifestyle we are leading is out of balance and that we need a course correction. 18.01.2022 Time to congratulate the last client for 2020 in achieving her 100 club - @sarahbutcher87. She has only been training at Vitality FITT for 7 months and she has already achieved 2 accolades. This milestone of the 100 Club and she also received the Most Improved ICE client for 2020. Sarah decided to take the plunge and sign up to Vitality FITT in June 2020. This was after realising during isolation she was drinking too much, eating too much and not doing any sort of exercise. S...he was feeling tired, irritable and not herself. I’m sure there’s a lot of you out there that can relate. Sarah’s husband Jason was already doing online FIRE with me and he could already see the physical and mental changes it was doing for him. He knew Sarah just needed that little push to get her started and before you knew it Sarah was signed up. She’s so glad he sent the message cause she wouldn't have done it herself. Over the past 7 months she has now got a new routine that incorporates 3 x ICE sessions a week and she has changed training from 9:30am to 6am. Why you ask? She realised how much she get done in the morning by training earlier. All of Sarah’s ICE sessions have been done online via Zoom apart from one class that she came to the factory with her daughter. She loves the fact that she can do her sessions without leaving the house as it makes things easier when she has two girls at home with her. Although the human interaction and the face to face encouragement would be nice, it’s no excuse for her not to get her sessions done. Sarah’s advice to others is just to start, take that hard first step. I was always telling myself that I would start again on Monday or I’ll do better tomorrow and it never lasted more than two weeks. Since starting at Vitality FITT my mental health has improved dramatically and the physical changes I have started to see in myself are enough to make me want to keep going, and I just feel GOOD!! Keep up the amazing work Sarah in 2021 we are all very proud of you

15.01.2022 As 2020 came to a close last week, Vitality FITT had two clients finish off the year achieving their 100 club. One of those clients was @lor3ttz Loretta has now been training at Vitality FITT for over two years now and she is just getting stronger and stronger. During Covid I had a Zoom call with her about her training and her nutrition. It was back in July that I told Loretta to change her training schedule to 3 x FIRE & 1 x ICE. There were a number of reasons in why I sugge...sted this change to her. Her knee and shoulder had started to play up due to doing too much ICE She wasn’t recovering in between sessions She was tired during the day Her sleep patterns were up and down Following the Zoom call and Loretta changing her training regime she noticed a number of changes started to occur in her life. She had so much more energy throughout the day Her sleep pattern has improved drastically She was more productive throughout the day time She became much stronger in her sessions despite a knee & shoulder problem She ate more food than she ever used to She started to train her brain to eat to fuel her body and not to turn it into another diet Remember not to just focus on how you look when you start training and wanting to change. There are so many other aspects that are just equally as important Keep up the amazing work Loretta in 2021 we are all very proud of you



14.01.2022 Will doing weights make me big & bulky? l don’t want to build big muscles l just want to tone! This is one of the most common questions l get from women, on the topic of doing weights in the gym. Firstly you are not alone in feeling this way about resistance training. Many women who embark on a journey to become healthier, leaner versions of themselves opt to skip out on the resistance training and spend many hours doing cardio or aerobic activity in an attempt to avoid b...ecoming manly looking (their words, not mine). The unfortunate thing is this it doesn’t work. Step back and ask yourself this question: How many times have you already tried that approach? How many times has it worked? I realise that answering those questions may not be enough to get you to try something different, but it should at least spark you to ask another question: Why hasn’t that worked? Spending hours doing cardio actually creates an environment within your body that is more conducive to increasing muscle breakdown and increasing fat storage rather than an environment that is conducive to maintaining lean muscle tissue and increasing fat metabolism. That’s right, you are actually creating an environment in your body that is the exact opposite of what you want! Whoa! Do I have your attention now? So what will create an environment that is conducive to burning body fat especially off those stubborn areas such as the stomach, hips, back thighs & butt. Focused Intense Resistance Exercise. It is no secret that FIRE increases our body’s ability to more efficiently use the food and nutrients that we provide it rather than to store them as fat. That’s right; taking part in FIRE makes your nutrition plan even more effective & helping shape a strong body bursting with vitality. As far as any concern you have about becoming overly muscular, it is important to know that some people spend their whole lives trying to become big and muscular, and it just doesn’t happen. Women have about 1/6th the testosterone that a man does. This makes becoming manly a nearly impossible task. However while we shouldn’t be worried about adding too much muscle, we should be concerned about losing it. As we age we lose precious lean muscle tissue. In fact if we do not actively do something to prevent its loss, between the age of 30 and 60 we are likely to lose 15 pounds of muscle and gain 30 pounds of fat!! What is one thing that you can do to prevent this from happening? You guessed it FIRE FIRE is also the only nonsurgical way to change the shape of your body. 11.01.2022 Recently I got to acknowledge another client who has achieved 200 ICE sessions for the year. Congrats Jo This is an incredible effort by Jo as she’s a wife/mum with 2 teenage kids, so fair to say her life is pretty busy. During isolation she actually got one of her children, Ella to join Vitality FITT. Ella now completes 2 sessions a week with her mum and she truly does look up to her. What an amazing role model Jo is. I always like to say Monkey See Monkey Do. The majo...rity of her sessions have been completed on Zoom. This is due to lockdown and even coming out of lockdown she has been training in her own garage as it has been more convenient for her as she doesn’t have to travel. Being a mum she is continually running around for her 2 teenage kids to either take them to school, work or sport. So anywhere that she cut down on time she will. Consistency is one of key skills when it comes to training and Jo has definitely been role model in that area. So, many clients within our community really look up to her. You don’t have to be perfect to achieve great results, you just have to remain consistent! And when you do, you’ll be happier, more self aware and continue to build positive habits into your life! Jo your work ethic, commitment and discipline shown in your training is contagious throughout our community. I am so proud of your efforts Jo and I know the rest of the Vitality FITT family are as well. Congrats on reaching this milestone
