17.01.2022 It is understandable that many people may have feelings of anxiety, distress relation to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. While it is important to stay informed, there are also many things we can do to support and manage our well-being during such times. To help you maintain perspective and feel more in control, get accurate information from credible sources such as WHO (World Health Organisation) and the Australian Government Department of Health. If you ever feel as though you need help during this time call Helpline on 131 114.

16.01.2022 We would like to wish Sarah and Madi a big happy birthday! We hope you have a great day! :)

16.01.2022 On #NationalSorryDay, we stand in solidarity with our First Nations People and we acknowledge the trauma of the stolen generations. We recognise that these past injustices continue to be a cause of inter-generational trauma for Indigenous people, their families and their communities. We all have a part to play in the healing process of our nation.

15.01.2022 Our Vivid Managing Director Scott Agnew and Innovations Account Manager Lisa Agnew had the privilege and honour of walking the Kokoda track last September. To walk in the footsteps of the Aussie soldiers gave them a deeper understanding of the sacrifices of war and the lives that were lost to keep Australia free. A once in a life time experience they will cherish forever.

14.01.2022 This has been a particularly tough year for all. Make sure today and every day you check in with your friends, work colleagues and family to see if they’re ok. If you need guidance on how to support someone, visit ruok.org.au If you need support or know someone who does, visit ruok.org.au/findhelp for professional support services and self-care tools.

14.01.2022 Vivid is recognising that this week is National Reconciliation Week. All over the world, when communities have traumatic experiences, there are long term consequences. Their children and grandchildren are affected, and depending on whether and how wrongdoings are acknowledged and continuing problems are addressed, the trauma tracks down the generations. Australians of today are not directly responsible for what happened in the past. But it is part of our shared history as I...ndigenous and non-Indigenous Australians and, together, we are responsible for what happens in the future. Recommendation 290, National report overview and recommendations of the Royal Commission Indigenous Deaths in Custody 1989 to 1996 AGPS, 1991

10.01.2022 Today 28/04/2020 is World Health and Safety Day. It’s a day that we reflect on the work that we do each day and think about what keeps us all safe. Every incident and injury is avoidable! There is no valid reason why people should not go home in the same condition as they arrived at work each day. Notify of any hazards and report all incidents so that they can be investigated and have new procedures and policies created to stop other people from being harmed. Even things that... haven’t hurt anyone but could have also need to be reported. Speak up and say something if it doesn’t look right. Everybody’s main responsibility at work is to work safely and the policies and procedures will show you how. Focus on your own spacial awareness and manage the things that can hurt us or other people we will all be in a much safer environment. Happy World Safety Day!
