21.01.2022 Bit of a story this one, check out the text and all the pics. A while ago I did a tartan job for a young bloke with a T3, he was a shopfitter called Luke and he did the rest. First pic. I was so impressed I said to him if I find the right job, would he have a crack at doing a 1970's style interior or other Kombi work. 2nd to fourth pic is Denise's panel Van interior. When we met it was fur city, everything was fur, there are some posts on it a while ago with the trimming I d...id. I knew I couldn't do it on my own and I needed Luke to help me lift this panel from a furry shagwagen to something more classy. Pictures 5 to 8 and Luke has smashed it out of the park. It looks superb, I couldn't of expected any more. Fantastic job Luke And the greatest news is Luke is keen to do more Kombi interiors in the future. Personally, the chance to collaborate with someone so clever in the future is a grand thing. 09.01.2022 Speaker pods with convex and concave curves. I put these off for ages, wasn't sure, seam, no seam, how does it work, so many curves, then I remembered I used to make shoes and busted out my old tools... No seam, one piece of vinyl, stretched, glued, fought, and sworn at. Gotta be happy with the result though. #handmade @volkstrim

05.01.2022 Well that was a big weekend, finished construction on the vegie garden, got some metal in my eye, yes I was using safety gear, went to hospital Monday, spent Tuesday with my eyes closed. Recovering well, vision not affected just very sore now. Last day of school holidays today, hoping to be back in the saddle tomorrow. Heaps of work to do and a new year to play with..onwards.

04.01.2022 Dual cab 1/3 2/3 front seats. Welding, spring replacement, sandblasting, painting and baking. Just like new now. A lot of people powder coat their seats, powder coating leaves an even coat on every surface and will make the runners gaps smaller and in some cases impossible to get back in the car without lots of hand filing.....
