15.01.2022 All ND students deserve to feel supported, safe and empowered during their time at uni. As President it became clear there was a gap of support and silence when it came to the needs of our LGBTIQ+ students. This year the NDSA raised awareness and increased advocacy for this group, which is something I am very proud of. In 2018 I want to continue this great work with my team. I will affiliate a LGBTIQ+ student society, which is long overdue at ND. Our LGBTIQ+ students will also have a strong representative working for them in the Equity and Access Officer role. Vote 1 Ashley-Rose Hooper for Equity and Access.
11.01.2022 Week two of voting is nearly done and what I am hearing from many students is that the NDSA is on the right track, but there is more work to be done and I am committed to doing that work. Let's keep delivering positive results for students!
10.01.2022 The election is on and it is time to debate the ideas. If you wanna hear about my positive plans for ND students in 2018 come on down ask some questions and let's see who has the better plan for students :)
04.01.2022 ND students pay the most for parking out of all uni students in WA. I want to fix this, ND students deserve access to more equitable and affordable parking in Freo. This year I have worked closely with Local Government and the Uni to find solutions to this issue. In 2018 I will get more parking results for students.
