15.01.2022 Gerry has been in discussions with RFC and he has secured a window whereby he may enter the sports hall for the purpose of collecting equipment. As such, our members will be able to come in to the car park and wait outside the entrance to the hall as the only person permitted to enter is Gerry and he will go in to the bag room and retrieve your fencing bag. We are only able to have a window between 12 noon and 1 pm. If you would like to collect your fencing bag, please email Gerry to let him know that you will be attending on Monday

11.01.2022 We are going home That is correct -we are returning to our club for the recommencement of training for our 18 and under fencers It can’t all be smooth sailing and we have had to amend our training schedule for the first week pending further announcements from the State Government on Sunday.... For the week commencing Monday November 9 we will have training on Tuesday Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately, the Saturday session will not be able to go ahead this week and that means that we will not be running swordplay. Given that we have to manage social distancing and space and we are limited to a maximum of 20 people. Can you advise which session/s you or child will be attending and the details for this week are: Tuesday 4pm -7pm private lessons 5.00-6.15pm junior squad 6.15 - 6.30pm clean down and put equipment away. Thursday 4pm -7pm private lessons 5.00-6.15pm junior squad 6.15 - 6.30pm clean down and put equipment away. Friday 4pm -7pm private lessons 5.00-6.15pm junior squad 6.15 - 6.30pm clean down and put equipment away. All fencers will need to be dropped at the door with all parents socially distancing and everyone 12+ will be required to wear a mask. We ask that as a parent you do not enter the hall as no parent can remain in the hall during the training sessions. On departure, again we ask that you not to enter the hall, instead wait for your child outside, again socially distancing with face masks. Please ensure when your child arrives and leaves the hall and whilst in the hall not engaging in sporting activity, that they wear their masks and that they adhere to social distancing protocols. Your child will be required to complete attendance details upon their arrival and have their temperature taken. They must be ready to train as the changing facilities cannot be used. They must maintain their gear in their bag and zip it up and when they get out of their gear at the end of the session, they must put it straight in their bag and not on to the floor. Please ensure your child brings their own drink bottle filled with water as the communal water fountain will not be available, their snacks , their own towel and equipment - they will not be allowed to share. All fencers will be required to help clean after each session. We encourage all fencers and parents to complete COVID-19 online training https://www.health.gov.au//covid-19-infection-control-trai it will only take about 15 minutes. Happy fencing all !
