13.01.2022 We have some excellent news to share that Marc Shaw from Sutherland Shire Squadron passed his Recreational Pilots License flight test last Saturday 14th Novembe...r. One a perfect weather day after having to be delayed due to conditions on previous weekends he took to they sky and finished the last and most important part of his Recreational Pilots License course. Marc apart from flying with us also assists with the running of the Air Activities Centre on weekends. He volunteers his time to help support the instructors and operations so we can provide better service to all of our students. Congratulations Marc!!!
13.01.2022 We are pleased to share that Adam Glowacki from Sutherland Shire Squadron completed his First Solo in our Piper Warrior (VH-LRA) this past week. This is his fir...st milestone on the way to his Recreational Pilots License. With COVID-19 impacting operations for several months, it is good to be able to share this achievement with the community and hope many more from Adam and the rest of our students are not far away. #ausairleague #aal #pilotlife
11.01.2022 Following the Remembrance Commemoration Ceremony on Wednesday, the Squadron Band put on a short display to entertain the crowd gathered in the International Ter...minal of Sydney Airport. It was fantastic for the squadron band to be back in the community and performing for the first time since March! Well done to all those that attended, you did a fantastic job! See more
