03.01.2022 FIFTY TWO (52) years ago today, my father, FGMR, introduced Taekwon-Do to the continent known as Europe! The year was 1967 and he had just arrived in the UK f...rom Singapore where he had been teaching Taekwon-Do to the US Marines, the RAF & other locals. He was then, only 30 years old and a 5th dan, and planned to stay for a maximum 5 years before moving on to promote the Art elsewhere. Over 50 years later and my father is still teaching, remains active and continues to promote the most powerful Art ever devised! 02.01.2022 On Friday April 8th 2016, the ITFA Instructors were treated to a special complimentary training session with First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha, prior to the IIC. FG...MR covered a range of topics including the history of the ITF, which celebrates its Golden Jubilee in 2016. All grades also had one on one tuition on their grade pattern, a great honour from the Taekwon-Do Pioneer. FGMR is the only Pioneer to stay by General Choi in the ITF from its inception.
