17.01.2022 Hmmm slight error on my behalf, forgot to add a calendar to the website... now how to add the Field Days.... anyway venues going forward are North Mole, Mandurah, Lancellin, Wedge, Preston/Whitehills, Estuary and the good old Hill River

15.01.2022 Thanks to Nathan at BCF Balcatta, Rob at Getaway on Wanneroo Rd and Steve Hart at Tackle HQ who have let me leave Club brochures in the fishing departments

12.01.2022 Excellent bait presentation, and build.... note the size of the sardines compared to the mulies over here in Australia

11.01.2022 INDIAN OCEAN ROADBLOCK TO FINISH WAs Premier Mark McGowan has just announced that Lancelin will be open to Perth people (and vice versa) from Monday, May 18. ...This is great news! The roadblock on Indian Ocean Drive will be dismantled next Sunday night and travel between Perth and the wheatbelt will be permitted. There are still restrictions on travel between 4 regions not affecting Lancelin/Perth. Click here for the governments statement - https://www.wa.gov.au//covid-19-coronavirus-regional-trave Lancelin restaurants, pubs and cafes will also be able to re-open on Monday May 18. This means youll be able to dine in at Lancelins eateries (max 20 people at 4sq/m per person) from tomorrow week. The max number of people in groups will be set at 20 people for other social gatherings. WAs border with the eastern states will remain closed and be the last restriction to be lifted.

11.01.2022 Looks like March the 8th and 9th won the poll ...... for the next fishing weekend.

10.01.2022 I should have the next 6 months Field Days published tomorrow - support wanted, not slander :) :) :) trying to make it all well rounded for the whole year ahead for everyone

09.01.2022 Hello All, Been a while dealing with family and other distractions, but ready to really kick off 2020 fishing year with you all. Look out for events and notifications, thinking also of calling all the members together soon to plan out our fishing year with everyone's thoughts/ideas and places

09.01.2022 Woohoo, website nearly complete, should be up and running next week. Brochures delivered last week, just got to distribute - lets get more members and go fishing

09.01.2022 And if the winter field days are a wash out.......... maybe this

09.01.2022 What a day, great attendance, very good seeing Sue and Matt come down to the event. Windy, some rain, all staying dry under the awning John put up. Not many fish, but I think everyone enjoyed the day and the company of the other club members - WA Anglers, onto a good thing...

09.01.2022 As most know I am learning the art of websites and social media..... just put a [basic] calendar into the Activities page of the website. Now I can load all the field days, and link them to the events page on Facebook....... baby steps but we are getting there :)

08.01.2022 Excellent bait presentation, and build.... note the size of the sardines compared to the 'mulies' over here in Australia

08.01.2022 Looking for times people can fish for the next event

05.01.2022 For those fishing with us on Saturday and Sunday, weather looks like no storms unfortunately.... wind moving between ENE 6km/hr to NE 12km/hr, Temp 21C during the day to 9C during the evening

04.01.2022 I have to apologise to all, havent been attending to the Club due to family affairs.... will be back onto it again soon.... get everyone fishing again

04.01.2022 Great to have the people coming down for the Field Day down Preston way last weekend. Photo courtesy of our newest member Ben, who was down with his two teenage sons, who had a great time catching fish and camping on the beach. Really energised when I see the youth enjoying fishing so much, asking and learning......

01.01.2022 What is the measure of success..... for Owen it was being the only angler on the field day to catch a fish..... Well done. For me it was seeing people come fishing, not catch fish but have a good social time... For everyone on the field day, i can't answer for you.... but I can thank each and every one who attended, or sent well wishes - for me that is a success...

01.01.2022 WA Anglers would like to thank John Benniman for his help and support at the sausage sizzle on Sunday morning....
