23.01.2022 This weekend saw 3 Wheatbelt girls head to Perth to attend the Country Girls Can Carnival, where they had skills sessions both days, played 4 indoor cricket games and two T20’s. All of the girls had a great time and I want to thank the parents for getting their girls there. Big thanks also to the WACA staff in organising such a great weekend for our regional girls. ... #wheatbelt #countrygirlscan #asportforall

19.01.2022 The weekend just gone saw 5 boys from the Wheatbelt attend the Regional u/14 carnival down in Bunbury. They played 4x T20 games from Saturday afternoon til Monday afternoon. Very proud of all their efforts and how they presented themselves over the 3 days. Also want to thank Peter Clements for coming along as a Regional Coach for the teams there. I really appreciate you giving your time to help out with the boys and further developing your coaching experience. ... Notable mentions must go to the fantastic scorers over the 3 days: Brendan Barrett, Andrew French and Cindy Clements thank you all for stepping up to do the scoring in the book and iPad when asked to

19.01.2022 What a legend! Lets chat to Cindy Clements and hear about her volunteering journey..... How did you get involved in volunteering? I have been volunteering since I was a teenager. My parents were big volunteers throughout my childhood and it just became part of my life. Once my children started school and sport I was involved with more organisations not just sporting ones. ... What do you love about volunteering? It allows the whole community an opportunity to play sport and participate in other activities that they can not do on their own or at home. You get to meet new people that wouldn’t normally cross paths with. If someone wants to volunteer, what’s your top tip? 14.01.2022 Today I facilitated a Level 1 Community Coaching Course at Watheroo Oval for 6 local coaches. We went over the Australian Way of Coaching, utilising all our resources available, to make the activities. Although it was a pretty warm day, we still got it done Well done to the newly accredited coaches for the CMJCA, hope you all enjoyed the day.

Belt up. is a road safety awareness campaign to promote wearing seat belts on WA roads to reduce the severity of injury in a crash. The message is simple. WEAR A SEAT BELT. Belt up! We don’t want you to become another statistic on our roads. WANT FREE HELMETS???? Thanks to the WACA’s partnership with the Insurance Commission, Belt Up branded helmets will be distributed to junior and senior clubs across the state.
