25.01.2022 SOLD Bay Gelding 16’2 by Starcraft out of Fleur De Belle (TB) 10yo. He’s an absolute gentleman to have around. Very well schooled. A huge trot, does shoulder in, counter canter, flying changes. He has the same lovely temperament out at a competition that he has at home. He’s scored over 70% at novice dressage and high 60’s at elementary and medium level. Has jumped clear up to 130 jumping and competed up to 105 Eventing. 23.01.2022 We had channel 7 here today for an interview on life after racing. Lucky our stable manager Herman Grosmann was on the job.

21.01.2022 Wadari Stables is looking for another worker. They must be very competent and confident with different types of horses. Reliable and easy to be around. The job is a grooming job. Ideally we are looking for someone to come in each morning for a few hours to help. Duties may include mucking out boxes/yards, catching horses to be worked, grooming, bathing, feeding, cleaning gear ect.

08.01.2022 The ups and downs of this sport we love. Unfortunately Tooter sustained an injury cross country and I had to withdraw him. Luckily he will make a full recovery but given his age and the length of time he’ll need off I think he has earnt his retirement. A very big thank you to Prue Barrett and Craig Barrett at Sandhills for their endless help. What an adventure it has been with him! Craig has won Adelaide 5 star, Melbourne 4 star multiple times, trained many riders to 4 and 5 star level eventing. He is a level 2 ea coach and a breeder/trainer of elite level performance horses. 02.01.2022 A big thank you to the committee of Oxley Horse Trials for running such a great event. We took four horses and it was great to be back out there. WS Hildegard was 4th, Emma Nicol’s Twohearts Anzac was 4th, Brett & Andrea Bradley’s Drunk on a plane was 7th and WS Frank the tank had his first event ever. Turns out Frank thought it would be easier to jump out of the arena than turn left so we actually got eliminated in the dressage but luckily they let us finish the event and h...e came home strong jumping a double clear.
