24.01.2022 Awesome work by the Committee and Club at Dunsborough for their drive on recent projects. Great use ahead for the locals and travelling teams in new Clubrooms and Change Facilities.

24.01.2022 At the end of the 2019 season, the WAFC held their annual Volunteer of the Year awards at the Sandover Medal. These awards decided the State winners across 9 different categories (Community Club Volunteer, NAB AFL Auskick Volunteer, Diversity Volunteer, Disability & Inclusion, Junior Coach, Senior Coach, Umpiring, Primary School & Secondary School). The South West were lucky enough to have 2 State winners in 2019, with Dave Lewis (Left) winning WA Senior Coach of the Year (...2019/20) and Will Hammond (Right) winning WA Primary School Ambassador of the Year (2019/20). Those that won their state category where then invited to the AFL's National Volunteer function to be to be held in Melbourne in May 2020. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, the event was delayed. Due to the current travel restrictions across the country, the event had to become a virtual one. In a more scaled back format, the national winners across all 9 categories were announced on Channel 7 on Saturday morning during the stations AFL Grand Final preview. Unfortunately Dave & Will didn't take out the national prize, however we as a region are super proud of their achievements and their continued efforts to ensure that people continue to engage in our great game of Australian Football. Congratulations again to Dave & Will on this fantastic achievement!

22.01.2022 Great to see a huge crowd at Busselton for the start of Auskick 2020, well done to all for their hard work in getting this going.
