22.01.2022 Just a note to advise that the WAG Exhibition which was tentatively planned for late July before COVID 19 has been postponed to a date either later this year or early next year. The Committee meets in late July and an update will be available following the meeting. Graham Drake WAG Chair.

14.01.2022 Just a quick note to advise that at yesterday's Committee Meeting (26/07/20) it was decided that, in line with the decision made at the last Committee Meeting in May, WAG activities for 2020 are still on hold until further notice due to COVID 19 situation (this includes workshops, the Art Festival and Exhibition). Membership Fees for current financial members have been extended until the end of 2020 with the new Committee elected at the AGM (usually November) making the decision for 2021. Nomination forms are also attached for committee positions. People need to be a current WAG member to nominate, but they can join if wanting to come on committee, message for a membership form.. People may nominate themselves but will need to be seconded by another person.. Forms must be received 7 days prior to the meeting. 04.01.2022 And that’s a wrap!, WAG May Workshops, done & dusted, and we sure went out with a bang of the brights on this Sunday Funday!, dyeing up paper coffee filters and silk in a rainbow of colour and special mention to participant Doreen Dyer for sharing her natural dye skills too. There was a room of creative talent, all sharing & wearing the inspiration!!... yes , ladies you can leave your hat on! Thank you to all the tutors and participants over the past 4 weeks

Congratulations to all and they should be a wonderful group working for the Wagait community in Arts.. Chair & Public Officer - Graham Drake Vice Chair - Alex Richmond Secretary - Melody Keating... Treasurer - Fiona Carter Additional Committee members, Rebecca James, Shirley Dravitski and Erin Carew. Thank you also to the past committee for their work throughout a busy year 2018/2019 with Easter markets, May Art month workshops and the Wagait Art Festival.
