18.01.2022 This weekend the NRL community will celebrate Harvey Norman Women In League Round, with the game paying tribute to the half a million + females involved across all aspects and levels of the sport. This year Roos Juniors fielded 122 League Tag players and celebrated our first ever League Tag player to reach 100 games for our club. Overall in 2020, there were record participation levels for women and we are incredibly proud of the role that we played.... U13’s Coach Vince Mescia has been training hard recently and will be running a marathon 42kms on the 3rd October to raise much needed funds for a good mate doing it tough. Yesterday the playing group surprised Vince and donated over $600 that was raised from marking out the fields during the year.... An fantastic show of respect to your Coach U13’s! 01.01.2022 Kangaroos Juniors are pleased to announce our new Roos Juniors Care initiative. This new program will focus on helping our injured players return to sport by providing training and rehabilitation equipment throughout recovery. Our first Roos Junior to receive assistance is our U11’s Red player Jamie Rumble, Jamie is currently recovering from knee surgery.... Partnering with Rebel Sport, Roos Juniors have recently purchased new training and rehabilitation equipment to help players like Jamie recover from injury. Today Jamie received a new club exercise bike and a resistance kit to help him strengthen his knee and get him back playing sport. We wish Jamie a speedy recovery and can’t wait to see him back in 2021. To help our club contribute to the Roos Juniors Care initiative mention our club when purchasing at Rebel Sport. Rebel will donate 5% of your sale to our club so we can continue to invest in more training & recovery equipment. A huge thank you to the team at Rebel Sport for helping Roos Juniors with our new program!
