16.01.2022 Nurses and midwives have been hit hard by the health and economic effects of COVID-19. Premier Berejiklian's wage freezes are a simply cruel and ill-conceived at this time.

The NSW Government took the fight to the Industrial Relations Commission and there will be a hearing on 23/06/2020 for a final decision. 15.01.2022 Nurses and midwives were here for NSW through fire, drought and pandemic. But when they needed the Berejiklian Government to be there for them, the Government decided to freeze their hard-earned wages.

14.01.2022 "It's not just today - it's into the future" Gladys Berejiklian's cruel wage freeze has long-term implications for nursing and midwifery. It will make lives harder for all of us, and make it more difficult to recruit new nurses and midwives into the professions.

Nurse Chris was involved in a motorcycle accident on the way to work, and had to have his leg amputated.
