23.01.2022 Well Done and Congratulations to Ashley on a fantastic effort at the, Virtual Short Course Nationals on the weekend. Each state ran their own competition. Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. You could win your race in Sydney and then had to wait for all the other states to swim the same race to see who won. Ashley had 6 events;... 50 Breaststroke PB 1st Place National Champion. (Not a Paralympic event) 100 Breaststroke 2nd Place PB (The Paralympic event she is working towards) 200 IM 10th Place 50 Butterfly 6th Place 100 Butterfly 9th Place 50 Freestyle 12th Place After nearly 10 months out of national competition Ashley was excited to be competing at a national level again. Scoring 2 podiums and some great times she is now looking forward to NSW State Championships in December with Wagga Wagga Swimming Club.
