24.01.2022 FINAL TALLY RAISED 1 week on from the walk and we have a final tally of funds raised! With all the generous donations and merch purchased we were able to raise $9,800 for Beyond Blue. So bloody happy to have raised so close to $10k...... Thank you for getting behind us and spreading the word, keep looking out for each other and be kind always. 12.01.2022 - Delivery delays in Victoria - Dear Customer, Your deliveries are on their way to you but due to network congestion many parcels are taking longer to arrive than usual. There may also be more time between tracking updates. ... This has been driven by the current situation in Victoria, the wider increase in parcel numbers and COVID-19 restrictions across the country which have impacted deliveries and services. Changes to our network capacity in Victoria from Stage 4 restrictions. We've been required to reduce our workforce capacity in our processing facilities in Melbourne and introduce split shifts. Many Victorian deliveries need to go via Sydney for sorting overnight due to the restriction on team members in Victoria. Online buying has increased in Victoria as people are unable to visit the shops which has sent parcel volumes skyrocketing. On some days, over 80% of parcels being sent and received in Australia are coming from, or end up in Victoria. What this means for your delivery. You may notice when tracking your parcel, that it is coming from a different location than you're used to. This is to make sure we are using all the extra capacity available in our network to process parcels as safely and quickly as we can. To keep up to date and track your parcels We recommend tracking your parcel via our tracking tool on our website or our app which shows the most accurate information on expected delivery dates. The best place to see the most recent information on impacts to our network, and any changes to services is our Coronavirus impacts page. Fair dinkum couldn’t have got through that emotional roller coaster without you! Most physical and emotional achievement that we pulled off together lads .... don’t think this doesn’t include you Peanut! 01.01.2022 Today was the original date of the walk, we should have been roughly 3 hours in by now. I’m actually pretty happy that covid restrictions forced us to move to a later date, it wouldn’t have been ideal walking in this rain Thank you for the continued support, I really appreciate all the merch orders and donations. We have currently raised around $7,000 for Beyond Blue! Which is awesome, but with more merch orders and donations I’d love to get to $10,000 by the time the new d...ate of the walk comes around on the 21st of November.
