24.01.2022 You may be in quarantine but your dog doesn't have to be! Whether you're practising social distancing, voluntary isolation or mandatory quarantine, we can set up a zero contact way for your dog to get out on a walk with us and get some much needed exercise. Remember most breeds require over 30 minutes of exercise a day!

24.01.2022 Mango enjoyed the small bit of sun we got today. The weather held up just long enough for a nice stroll through the dog park

21.01.2022 Gadget has been relaxing under the aircon in the heat of the day and now it's cooler we've brought out the pool. How do you keep your pets cool on a hot day?

20.01.2022 Check out that slack leash! Lola is walking like a champ after her parents' five week holiday.

20.01.2022 Puppies, older dogs and recovering vet patients can tire easily but still benefit from a nice, enriching walk. Take Mango as an example. At 14 years of age she still loves to go for a walk a few times a week. This is why we offer half hour walking sessions, for those furry friends who dont quite have the energy for much more.

20.01.2022 It's official! Our brand new website is up and running. Go and check it out for information about our services, easy ways to contact us and book in and of course some cute doggy photos! www.walkingtrailsandwaggingtails.com

19.01.2022 Happy 1st birthday Brodie!

18.01.2022 Great to see I'm not the only one who's happy we're back! It's been just over a month and were finally back to our adventures. Apologies to Obie's neighbours for the excited husky noises

17.01.2022 I'm sure we're all feeling a bit like Mango here as we come out of isolation. Our dogs won't know what's happened when we all go back to work but at least they can still get out for a walk with us!

14.01.2022 As the weather gets hotter, so does your dog. If your dog seems like it needs some time to cool off you can set up a play pool in the back yard, freeze some kibble in ice cubes or try our new Water Wagging service. This hour long session will see your dog swimming in lakes, bounding through creeks and maybe even taking a trip to the beach to get wet in the waves. At only $25 an hour, your dog will recieve important enrichment and socialisation experiences as well as cool off from the hot Australian sun. Message me on Facebook or email [email protected] to book a date and time now!

11.01.2022 Is your dog getting enough excersise? Did you know that even toy breeds like Chihuahuas, Pomeranians and Shih Tzus can require up to 20 minutes of exercise every day? Hounds and Teriers require 30-60 minutes of exercise every day and sporting and working dogs need an hour to an hour and half. With Walking Trails and Wagging Tails you can choose either a half hour or full hour walking and enrichment session to meet your furry friend's needs. Message me on facebook or email [email protected] to find out more or book a session.

11.01.2022 Introducing our new Double Walk deal. If you've got two dogs who need walking your second pooch is half price! 30 minute session: Single Walk - $15 Double Walk - $20... 60 minute session: Single Walk - $20 Double Walk - $30

09.01.2022 A tip for harness walking your furry friend: Harnesses are easy for your dog to slip out of so make sure you have a backup to keep them safely in your grasp. Obie, our husky friend is showing us a two leash method where we have one leash on the harness for control and one on the collar for security. Reggie the border collie is modelling an attachment that hooks the harness onto the collar (if you can see through all that fur!)

08.01.2022 Give us a hand in welcoming Reggie to the WTWT family! Reggie is an 8 year old border collie who is just the sweetest boy. He comes from a family with three kids and just likes to get out of the house sometimes. If you think your pooch needs a break, contact us to book in at 0466979286 or [email protected]

08.01.2022 We have great news! Restrictions have eased and Walking Trails and Wagging Tails is back up and running. Contact us on 0466979286 or [email protected] to book in now!

04.01.2022 Here at Walking Trails and Wagging Tails our appointments can be super flexible. Requests such as "some time next week" or "tomorrow afternoon" help us to avoid the crazy melbourne weather. This way you don't need to worry about coming home to a wet dog and we can avoid the hottest times of day to keep your pooch safe.

03.01.2022 WTWT family, Unfortunately the new Stage 4 restictions indicate that independant dog walkers cannot continue business in the melbourne metropolitan area. This means that Walking Trails and Wagging Tails will not operate until the 13th os September when Stage 4 is scheduled to end. Stay inside and be covid-safe. We'll see you soon

02.01.2022 We welcome Koda to the Walking Trails and Wagging Tails family (and to my own family). We adopted 11month old Koda last month. Let's play a guessing game in the comments! What 3 breeds does he have in him?

02.01.2022 This is Obie. He's our newest customer who has tonnes of energy and just loves to walk! Obie was feeling a little lonely at home so we were called in to brighten up his day. Walking Trails and Wagging Tails isn't jsut about exercise, it's about enrichment too! Consider booking in when your dog is home alone. They'll thank you for it!
