Experience is preferable but vital is being willing to learn more, passionate about teaching surfing, working cohesively in a team under our Head Instructor and wanting to improve to be the best instructor they can be!! There will be roles for Senior Instructors - those ...experienced instructors who will be able to run their own Group and Private Lessons. For those less experienced, we are also looking for assistant instructors to help and support our Head and Senior Instructors and our team of instructors with the various programs we run at the surf school. This is an amazing email and feedback we got from one lady who had her first ever surf lesson with us, with Tenielle as her instructor, last week....... Hey Jamo, Thanks so much... I had the absolute best time! I was so nervous because I've wanted to surf for so long but always been too scared as I'm not the fittest but even though it was only very briefly... standing up 3 times mad...e me feel so good and gave me the confidence to know I can definitely do this with practice! I've already bought a board and going to keep at it in Sydney and come back for another lesson when I'm back up the coast 1000% I'm so terrible with names but if you could remind me on my instructors name that would be awesome as I'd love to book in with her again when I'm up... she was such a ledgend and made me feel so at ease and like I could indeed be the frother I dream of haha. 01.01.2022 For all our surfers and our instructors safety, as well as the safety of the wider community, we have new comprehensive COVID-19 Risk Management Plans, cleaning protocols, new temporary operating procedures and lesson plans as well as some@slight changes in how we do things at the Surf School and in our lessons during COVID. This is all about to be uploaded to our website so all our surfers can be comfortable that we are operating safely and responsibly. Its been a whole lot of work getting COVID Compliant but it will be worth every minute so we can start having new surfers surfing with us!!
