25.01.2022 Gotta love it when a plan comes together! Stay tuned for more updates on this beautiful riparium that I am creating for The Aquatic Vault in Rosebud

25.01.2022 I have some exciting news folks! I have been commissioned to create a Waterfall Riparium and (seperate) Tarantula terrarium for The Aquatic Vault in Rosebud! Watch this space for more information and Work in Progress pics! If you'd like to discuss setting up your own terrarium, vivarium or similar such display, please Contact me via Messenger!... And don't forget to check out The Aquatic Vault's Facebook page as well for amazing prices and quality pet produce (link in comments)

15.01.2022 The topic of lighting is a very important one, and having a good quality light, even on a low-tech tank, will completely change how you view your tank. A fellow aquarist of mine shared these images comparing a Petworx 12W LED and an equivalent sized Chihiros WRGB-2 at 30% intensity. The shrimp in the comparison images are the same shrimp, with the only difference being the lighting. Is it worth getting a better light? You do the math

08.01.2022 What a day! Finally got all the equipment and hardscape for the Waterfall paludarium for The Aquatic Vault. Just waiting on the Ultrasonic fogger to arrive from Aqua One. Can't wait to wrap this project up and get the plants in!

03.01.2022 Just thought I'd make a tiny update before I complete my new set-up. I've had these emersed plants growing for a couple of months now, and they're really thriving. Emerse grown plants are excellent for aquascaping because you don't have to worry about the plants drying out while you get things ready. They're also a lot easier to grow out of the water, Just keep them humid and moist. I'll be ditching the old tanks they're currently growing in for large 45L plastic tubs with lights directly suspended overhead. This should help keep them in an environment where they can grow as large as they like, which means I have more plants to use and sell.
