23.01.2022 Walpole Menzies is proud to say that it is now two years old. We now have four full time staff, and two part time staff. The key to our business is the fact that our fees are determined by other lawyers pursuant to scales of costs, laid down by the Courts. That way the clients see independence and rigour, and the staff can see if they have worked in the most efficient way possible.... Arising from the same point of difference, both staff and clients are better off. As management consultants would say, it is good internal and external fit. Most of our work is commercial disputes. If we cannot or will not do the work then we find somebody who can. In our life to date, we are most grateful to those that have referred us work, and those that have received work and done it well.

22.01.2022 Walpole Menzies is pleased to announce further expansion. In late November 2018, Nicholas Holt joined the firm in an important step in the ongoing growth at Walpole Menzies. Nick brings to the firm five years’ experience working for a small firm in South Africa, practising in numerous areas including commercial law, property law and family law. In addition to operational responsibilities, Nick was charged with administering and managing a major branch of the firm and this ...experience allows him to act autonomously in certain matters, while supporting Andrew Stops in larger ones. Nick enjoys the challenge of finding suitable outcomes to an array of legal issues that may arise and possesses a reasoned approach to conflict resolution and negotiation. Aside from Nick’s admission as a lawyer in South Africa, he has also completed his Bachelor of Commerce and is currently completing steps to be admitted in Victoria.

22.01.2022 Walpole Menzies is pleased to announce that it is onward and upward. Last week it was joined by Zev Vinokurov, a lawyer of five years standing with experience in all Courts and Tribunals in Victoria. He has also completed a Master of Law at Monash University. Already Zev has shown that he can take the load from Andrew Stops and we will be in a position to service our valued clients more readily. At the same time, we have moved premises to Level 3, 461 Bourke Street, Melbourne to be in the legal precinct.
