25.01.2022 Did you know Wambo Electrical can do thermal imaging? Thermal imaging can be used to survey switchboards to pick up hot spots in your electrical equipment. Finding industrial equipment that is overheating in normal operation and replacing failing components can be crucial in avoiding an emergency shutdown in peak periods at large facilities often out of normal hours which can attract hefty callout fees. Some insurance policies may require these surveys to be conducted on a ...routine basis to ensure facility and plant coverage is valid. Thermal imaging can also be used in many other scenarios and industries to pick up other faults such as gas and water leaks in concealed spaces, hydraulic operations, termite infestations, and many more.
