22.01.2022 It is with great sadness that all Wanaruah NAIDOC Community Events are postponed until further notice as a response to the unfolding COVID-19 situation. This i...ncludes: - NAIDOC Art Competition - NAIDOC Flag Raising and Fun Day - Wanaruah LALC, Flag Raising and Morning tea - Any form of workshops or events. The Wanaruah NAIDOC Committee apologise for any inconvenience this has caused however; wish to communicate that the safety and well being of community, is our main priority at this time. Once the COVID-19 pandemic is over, we will post an update as to what will be happening with the NAIDOC 2020 celebration.

Cultural Activities including Doll Making and Rock Art workshops, Talks and Demonstrations. Lunch and materials included. Date: THURSDAY FEBRUARY 20TH 2020... 11.01.2022 The Wanaruah Land Council Elders Group and Singleton Elders Group meet up and had an outing to Baiame Cave Yesterday. We had a total of 18 that came together to learn about Baiame and experience this magical site. Thank you to everyone that helped make this day possible. Thank you to the Singleton Elders Group for lunch, thank you Tim for sharing your knowledge with us yesterday, thank you Tash for taking a day off work to drive the bus for us and thank you to the beautiful Noelene for letting everyone come to your property to experience this sacred site! Everyone had an amazing time and cant wait for the next outing together!

Cultural Activities including Doll Making and Rock Art workshops, Talks and Demonstrations. Its was a fantastic day and everyone who came loved all the activities! ... We cant wait to hold another workshop once things return to normal!

08.01.2022 Call out for warm jumpers and blankets!! @npywomenscouncil and @apy_ac_collective have partnered to collect much needed supplies for people across the NPY lands... as winter begins to descend on the desert. APYACC galleries in Sydney and Adelaide have generously offered to facilitate drop offs. Your support is much appreciated
06.01.2022 The Wanaruah Local Aboriginal Land Council is looking for a couple of volunteers that would be willing to help out next Monday and Tuesday with some gardening/ ...weeding.
