23.01.2022 It’s been more than 4 years since we left Canada. Ever since we first moved to New Zealand back in 2016 I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pickle to replace my beloved @bicks_canadapickles. No pickle in the Southern Hemisphere has ever measured up (and I’ve tried a crazy amount of different brands lolz) #allaboutthatcrunch @joeewagner, that angel, found a website of a Canadian living in Australia who sells these and this has been one of the best surprises ever!!!! Regardless of the fact it was 4x the cost worth every penny. Can you tell by my face how happy I am? And, no it’s not because I haven’t worn a bra/make-up in months however that also ranks high. #lockdownland #covidchronicles #bickscanada #bickspickles

19.01.2022 Our final day in the @yarravalleydandenongranges did not disappoint! 1-3. Beautiful eats from Gladysbake house @gladysdalebakehouse_official. Their cabinet was literally eye candy and the taste was to die for. From takeaway pies to gourmet eats the Veggie Sanger and Smoked Hummus was a taste explosion. We felt right at home here and feel so grateful to have experienced this wonderful spot. 4-5. Rayner’s Orchard @rayners_orchard and joined their Fruit Tasting Adventure ...Tour by Andrew. He made the experience so fun and the lush fruit had us loading up our u-pick baggie to the brim! They even have a cafe and Fruit Bottling Workshops! 6-8. Our berry fix was next at Kookaberry Farms @kookaberryberryfarm. Their award winning jams fly off supermarket shelves and all their products are not only preservative free with no additives or artificial colours but the products are also are made with love . Their immaculate farm and tasty strawberries were a delight! 9-10. Hop Hen Brewery @hophenbrewing was our last stop for the weekend. We got to enjoy the Sunday live music (they also have Wednesday Bingo, Thursday Pot n Pizza) and had some veggie pizza with our tastings and beers! 17.01.2022 Our stay at the @warburtonmotel was truly delightful and couldn’t recommend it more! Impeccably clean, adorably quaint, this renovated 1966 motel is near to the Yarra River, the Redwoods and so much more. We enjoyed a beautiful fire in the cutest outdoor seating area. @warburton_bike_and_hike down the O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail & Rivertubes to float down the Yarra! Richard was friendly, helpful and put his heart and soul into this peaceful serene magic spot amongst the most beautiful trees! 16.01.2022 Today we celebrated 5 years of marriage. We spent most of the day laying outside, chatting, laughing, reminiscing + enjoying each others’ company. Lockdown really didn’t change much for us as the simple life is our very best treasure. Leaving our hometown in 2016 has allowed us to explore that in different parts of the globe and showing us how little we really need. I really didn’t think after 10+ years I could love you this much & it feels like my heart may burst!! This ...year was the year when we both realized that the love we have for each other could also be turned within. And, as we fell into the deepest love we’ve had yet together it’s because we both fell in love with ourselves as well. I finally see what you have seen in me all along & it has drastically changed me. Thank you for being you and for always bringing out the brightest parts of in me. Thank you for the most beautiful card I could ever imagine (I loved it more than the pickles...gasp)! I love you, endlessly happy day of offical marriage. See more

08.01.2022 I honoured myself 3.5 days of sadness (with pockets of joy & laughter)- to fully feel it and not resist it. To not tell myself I shouldn’t feel that way. To not dismiss it. But to let it percolate in my heart, cover me in gray and sit with the heaviness. Then just as no rain, no rainbow reminds us, I welcome the colours the have flooded back to my heart. Where the gratitude feels warmer and brighter. To sit with my feelings is a gift and honour as I continue to let myse...lf be as I am. 06.01.2022 We had quite the tour of the @yarravalleydandenongranges and got perfect weather for it! #luckyus 1. The stunning @seville_estate for a luxury tasting experience! Their lunch spot looked beautiful and the estate was immaculate. 2-3. Organic fair trade coffee tasting with Cleo @silvacoffee (where they even found me one I like. Joe liked them all!) 4-5. If you saw our instastories @brumfieldwinery you will know I fell in love with their dog Benny & their unique wine, beer, bubb...les and Sangio Spritz hit all the spots. 6-9. Right next the vineyard @whisperinghillsvineyard had a scrumptious house Cuvée, pizza & arancini balls. More detail to come on the @yarravalleydandenongranges blog about our excellent stops.

03.01.2022 A week ago before more restrictions were in place, Joe and I celebrated 10 YEARS together ! We found a beach to have a walk & a little sit away from anyone (don’t worry proper social distancing was in place). We ate in our car and enjoyed the time together. I had this planned 10 dates for a few months thanks to @laurenrodycheberle’s idea (check her website) but had to adapt all the dates to Quarantine/Isolation edition. I folded origami envelopes and they were a hit- lots o...f dates for many weeks to come all from home. @joeewagner made a sweet post and #quarantine may have made him forget the exact date. So the next day we celebrated again and he made me a delicious healthy din and we laid outside and watched a movie. Still not sure how I keep falling more in love with you but I’m oh so very grateful! Here’s to another decade together! @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia See more
