12.01.2022 Today the children have been learning and discussing Feelings and Emotions with stories, puppets, dramatic play and painting portraits of different emotions.... Naming feelings is the first step in helping children learn how to identify them. It allows children to develop an emotional vocabulary so they can talk about their feelings. Children who learn how to understand emotions in themselves and others are better able to regulate their own responses to strong emotions.

06.01.2022 Its a rickety rocket ship kind of day. The children have been enjoying box craft games and activities, with lots of imaginitive play surrounding aliens and roc...ket ships. Today we decided to make our very own rocket ship. Some of our friends spent the morning constructing and decorating their very own out of this world rocket. Playing with cardboard boxes can enhance skills such as creativity, imagination and resourcefulness. Box play inspires creativity and imagination as children build upon, transform and reinvent them.
