18.01.2022 As we are preparing to re launch in a few weeks will will also need to fill our volunteer roster! With the COVID - 19 regulations we will need at least 2 people on barcode scanning. We need an extra barcode scanner, a timekeeper, and a photographer.If you can help please email [email protected] And all participants don’t forget that you can scan the Vic Gov QR code before you arrive let’s all be Covid safe. (We will again have the QR code at Apex Park before the start) A good thing we start at 8am it will be very warm later in the day. Remember your water bottles for after run rehydration

16.01.2022 Welcome Back to Wangaratta Parkrun one and all!! 96 runners and 7 volunteers and 3 RD's help me with our first "Covid Normal" event. Thank you to all the runners who very patient while we got them processed and on their way. It was good to see everyone there and having a great time. Welcome back Parkrun... RD Shannon

08.01.2022 Some reminders as we get closer to starting parkrun ~ 16th Jan 2021. Please check-in by scanning our unique QR code from Services Victoria, this will be available on our Facebook page, on our website in the news feed and we will also have QR code posters at the start line. Stay at home if you are unwell... Practice safety protocols at all times at parkrun (1.5m apart during the briefing and at finish line, no hugs, no high-fives). Please note, we will no longer have a key holder. You will need to pocket your car keys. Sadly no selfie frame for now. Unfortunately we are also unable to celebrate milestones during our run brief so we encourage you to upload a photo to our Facebook page so we can celebrate with you! Don’t forget your barcode. Place a spare in your car. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

04.01.2022 Do you love parkrun? Do you enjoy supporting your community? Do you enjoy being part of something bigger? If you answered YES to any of these, we need you!... We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, friendly person (or persons) to take over the Event Director role at our parkrun! You will have a great team of Run Directors to support you and you will have a thorough hand over. Not to mention a great supportive parkrun community! You won’t be on your own! If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to touch base!

Please make sure you all have your barcodes printed and ready ,barcodes on phones are not accepted, make sure you have friends and family join the fun and be sure to check out the volunteer roster and help out where you can!

04.01.2022 Parkrun is back with 97 runners/walkers and several dogs all finishing today our first day back on a crisp coolish morning. Thanks to all 10 volunteers helping to make the day very successful. See y’all next week!
