19.01.2022 Im proud to announce that Wanneroo Juniors are the proud winners of the Steve Fink Shield, Best Club Award 2020. An award we have not won since 2003. It would of not been possible without the amazing support from my Registrar Jeli and Director of Rugby Des, and the tireless work we did during the Covid lockdown and the late nights during the season. Along with our amazing coaches, managers, junior committee and volunteers. Winning this award helps confirms we are on the rig...ht track in our vision to grow not only our junior club but also our junior girls pathway and help cement us as the top female rugby club in WA. 17.01.2022 New Head Coach Appointment! After club legend Stephen Festa Cavanagh stood down as Premier grade coach at the end of last year for family and work commitments. Wanneroo has appointed Ian ArmoArmitage, who most of you will know as our former assistant coach. With a wealth of experience as head coach we are excited to see him bring his own style and professionalism to Wanneroo. Below is some of Ian’s coaching history. RFU Level 2 Coach.... 14.01.2022 NEW SIGNING! TEAM MANAGER! Absolutely fantastic news, we have managed to secure the services of Graham Jones aka Ninja, as our team manager for 2021 ... Jonesy joins us following a years sabbatical, having previously been team manager at the Joondalup Brothers. Jonesy has also been manager in almost every grade at RugbyWA/ Perth Spirit. An absolute champion bloke who goes above and beyond for everyone, he fixes things you didn’t even know were broken and is always one step ahead. Jonesy is an absolute menace on the sideline and doesn’t hesitate to give the referee his expert opinion, even if it his own son, Sam who is in the middle. We can’t wait to get started now, when you get the opportunity please make Jonesy and his family welcome down at the kennel.

Friday night will be full tackle 7s play These are social competitions, there will be junior, senior and mixed teams (families).
