17.01.2022 So... you may have been wondering , What even is Wanted Man Wines and what is their story?. Well heres a quick rundown... 1. The gorgeous creature you see in this picture is our very own wine mascot. His name is Bear. Dont let his cute looks fool you... he is serious about his wine. 2. Were a family-owned vineyard in Heathcote, overseen by the highly-regarded Mark Walpole and vineyard manager Callan Randall, who believe that the quality of the wine is dependent on the f...ruit we produce. 3. Our winemaker, Matt Harrop, works with his talented team at Shadowfax. Grapes are gently crushed and fermented in open top fermenters using indigenous yeasts. The wine is then matured in a mix of new and aged French Oak puncheons. 4. The name Wanted Man was inspired by Paul Kellys album of the same name.
